Batesville, IN—During the Batesville City Council meeting on Monday evening, the Council approved changes to the parking ordinance on Walnut Street between George and Pearl Street to allow parking. The change in the ordinance will allow up to 18 more spaces to park in the downtown area. The area was previously marked as no parking. No parking will still be enforced near the loading dock area of the Hill-Rom building.

In the end Udall would beat Oxford 34-26.Udall held a 28-26 lead at the half in what looked as if both teams could have scored into the 50s. But the second half proved otherwise. Whether the coaches on both teams threw in some defensive wrinkles or the offenses just lost their effectiveness, only one touchdown was scored when Udall’s Loos scored on a 27-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to give the Eagles an 8-point win.Â In the first quarter, Udall would score first before Oxford’s Haskins went on a 75-yard touchdown kickoff return romp. The Eagles took the lead on a 6-yard TD run which was followed by a Norris 38-yard TD pass to Catlin.In the second quarter the game looked about the same as the first. Udall would score two touchdowns and on Oxford’s side Haskin would get his second kickoff return for a touchdown and Norris would throw another touchdown pass to Catlin, good for 28 yards. To my surprise he returned to the game but I was worried the way he wobbled of the field and collapsed on the side lines he had a concussion.
